The venue

The Churchill Bar & Terrace is comprised of an elegant outdoor terrace and luxe indoor bar, which can be hired during the day or evening. The indoor and outdoor spaces are available for private hire separately or together. We’ve hosted everything from birthday parties, corporate events, private dining, networking events, filming and more.

The terrace is the perfect spot to enjoy alfresco craft cocktails. In the summer, enjoy the garden-feel to this calm haven opposite Portman Square Gardens, while in the winter outdoor heaters and candles create a cosy atmosphere. Indoors, the contemporary art-deco influenced interior gives a firm nod to Sir Winston Churchill in subtle ways, with original letters between Churchill and his beloved wife Clementine adorning the walls.

From arrival cocktails rustled up by Bar Manager Gaston Fusco and his team of expert mixologists, to tasting sessions from our extensive whisky list, your drinks options are tailored to your occasion. Bar food, canapes, sharing platters and gourmet burgers are all available, prepared fresh in our kitchen by our Executive Chef Carlo Martino and his culinary team.
