Inspired by the lesser-known sides to Britain’s famous former Prime Minister, Sir Winston Churchill, Shades of Winston Churchill is an innovative cocktail menu designed by expert mixologists, featuring at The Churchill Bar & Terrace this autumn/winter.
With a strong repertoire of craft cocktails, Shades of Winston Churchill cocktail menu draws inspiration for its flavours from classic British food duos, with cocktails served with the option of a food-pairing dish. ‘Prime Minister’ uses the British food combination of egg and cress for inspiration, while ‘The Traveller’ takes a unique twist on a humble food pairing loved my much of the nation – jacket potatoes and baked beans.
Shades of Winston Churchill has been crafted with great ingenuity, adventure and imagination, with cocktail lovers treated to a captivating and sensory experience with each sip.

Celebrating Winston Churchill’s life, the cocktail menu playfully reinterprets a collection of classic British dishes and ingredients, including strawberries and cream, apple and crumble, rhubarb and custard and scones and clotted cream. Our team carefully designed the cocktail menu for discerning drinkers’ tastes, from the more experimental drinker to those looking for an indulgent warming winter cocktail.”
The Churchill Bar & Terrace also features a unique collaboration with prodigious young artist Zoom Rockman, famed for his sharp-witted satirical cartoons, with a series of eight specially commissioned eight artworks displayed the bar’s outdoor heated terrace. The artworks depict the private and public life of Sir Winston Churchill.
